Milestones
Founded in 1989 in the Lake Como area (Italy) where our headquarter and manufacturing sites are still based, we are now operating in more than 50 countries around the world.
Steriline is founded
by Mr Gerardo Fumagalli as a manufacturer of Washing machines and Depyrogenating tunnels
1989
Steriline opens its first owned manufacturing site
and in 1995 doubles its factory surface
1993
Launch of the 1st equip. for oncologic applications
and in 1999 of the 1st Stand-alone isolator
1996
Steriline starts advertising on trade magazines
and in 2005 opens its second owned manufacturing site (1700 sqm)
2001
Launch of the 1st complete line for aseptic processing
including isolators, filling and capping machines
2007
Steriline moves to its new headquarter in Como (3400 sqm)
2009
Steriline launches, 1st in the market, a robotic application
with no need of format parts and a “zero-loss philosophy”
2014
Steriline launches its 1st Robotic vial filling machine
and in 2017 its 1st Robotic tub decontamination system
2016
Opening of the new headquarter (2000 sqm)
ISO 9001:2015 certification and launch of the 1st Robotic vial capping machine
2018
Steriline launches its first multi-purpose robotic filling line
for vials, cartridges and syringes
2020
Steriline delivers its first complete Covid-19 vaccine filling line
6 months just after the order
2021
Steriline chosen by Berkshire Sterile Mfg. to work with several suppliers to integrate an automated, isolator-based sterile filling line with lyophilization capability.
The line processes multiple container types/sizes for pharma and biotech products.
